Description

Croft Armchair Beige: Mid-Century Comfort for Volume Projects

Mid-century design is still one of the safest choices for interior buyers because it suits so many room types. The mid-century modern look relies on gentle curves, honest materials and slim, tapered legs. The Croft follows that approach closely. Its rounded back wraps around the sitter, the seat sits low and inviting, and the legs lift the body of the chair so the floor stays visible beneath it.

Beige chenille is a neutral base that works with timber tables, stone floors, rattan accents and darker sofas. For a buyer who orders by the container, one colour that suits many rooms simplifies purchasing and replenishment. It also reduces the risk of leftover stock.

Design Language and Seating Comfort

Silhouette and Ergonomics

The back curves into the arms in one continuous line, which gives the chair its sculpted, sofa-like presence despite a modest footprint. Seat height and backrest angle suit extended lounging as well as short stops in a lobby. The chair fits easily into tight corners and conversation groups, and it pairs well with a small side table.

Beige Chenille Upholstery

Chenille has a dense, soft pile that feels warm to the touch and hides everyday wear better than flat weaves. The pile catches light softly, so the beige reads as cream in bright rooms and as sand in dimmer ones. For contract buyers, we can recommend higher-abrasion chenille grades and stain-resistant treatments. Fabric swatches can be sent before you confirm an order.

Materials, Construction and Legal Timber

The structure starts with a kiln-dried hardwood frame, joined with dowels and corner blocks and reinforced at stress points. Seat and back use high-resilience foam in layered densities, wrapped in batting so the upholstery stays smooth and shaped. The legs are solid wood, turned or tapered to the mid-century profile, and fixed with hardware that tolerates repeated handling.

ARDENA is a premium teak and mahogany manufacturer, and our timber sourcing is documented under SVLK, Indonesia’s timber legality assurance system. Documentation travels with each shipment, which helps importers meet due-diligence requirements in their own markets. Finishing is done in our Jepara workshop in several stages, from sanding to sealing, so the legs resist moisture and scuffs.

Where the Croft Fits

In hotels, the Croft works in lobbies, suites and lounge corners, where it adds a soft, residential note to hard surfaces. Cafes and restaurants can use it for relaxed seating zones away from the dining tables. Retailers and showrooms use it as a styling piece that makes room sets feel finished. Developers staging apartments will find the neutral colour easy to match with different palettes. Because it is sold by the container, one design can furnish an entire property.

OEM Options, Packing and Container Loading

Our team supports private-label and project-specific changes. Common requests include different chenille colours, alternative leg stains, size adjustments and branded labels. Each chair is wrapped in protective foam, fitted with corner guards and packed in an export carton. Detachable legs reduce volume, so more units fit per container and freight cost per piece drops. Samples can be arranged before bulk production, and we share production photos at key stages.

To see matching tables, benches and lounge pieces from the same workshop, browse the ARDENA product range and build a coordinated collection for your project.

B2B FAQ

Can the beige chenille be replaced with another fabric or colour?

Yes. We can quote the Croft in other chenille shades, bouclé, linen blends or performance fabrics. Send your reference swatch or colour code, and we will confirm availability and lead time before you commit.

Is the timber legally sourced and documented for import?

Yes. ARDENA supplies SVLK-documented timber, and the paperwork accompanies each shipment. This supports legality checks and due-diligence processes for importers.

How is the armchair packed for container shipping?

Each chair is wrapped in foam, protected with corner guards and packed in an export carton. Detachable legs make the carton more compact, which improves container utilisation. Our sales team can provide a loading plan for your order quantity.
