Description

Beige Velvet Ottoman for Contract Interiors

This beige velvet ottoman is a fully rounded sphere seat built for buyers who need a soft, sculptural accent piece that works in many rooms. ARDENA produces it in Jepara, Indonesia, where our workshops combine hardwood joinery with careful upholstery. The warm beige tone suits both neutral and bold schemes, so importers, hotel procurement teams and interior contractors can specify it across a whole project and expect a consistent look.

beige velvet ottoman - round velvet sphere accent seat in beige finish, mid-century style, for hospitality and residential projects

As a container-load supplier, we treat every ottoman as a repeatable production item. Shape, fabric tension and seam placement are checked against an approved sample, so the first unit and the last unit in your order look the same.

Design Language and Aesthetic

A Mid-Century Silhouette in Soft Form

Mid-century design favors simple geometry, honest materials and a relaxed sense of comfort. The sphere is a natural expression of that thinking. It has no corners, no visible frame and no front or back, so it can be placed in the middle of a room, beside a sofa or at the foot of a bed without needing a fixed orientation.

Why Beige Works Commercially

Beige velvet catches light softly and shows depth in the pile without looking loud. It pairs well with teak, mahogany, rattan, stone and painted walls, which makes it an easy addition to existing ranges. For buyers building a collection, it also sits comfortably next to our ARDENA product range of solid wood furniture.

Materials and Construction

Hardwood Frame and Base

The internal structure uses kiln-dried hardwood, selected for stability and screw-holding strength. Moisture content is controlled before assembly to reduce movement during sea freight and in air-conditioned interiors.

Cushioning and Velvet Upholstery

High-density foam is shaped and wrapped in layers to hold the spherical profile without flat spots. The cover is a tightly woven velvet chosen for a dense pile, good color uniformity and reasonable abrasion resistance. Seams are cut and sewn so they follow the curve evenly, which is the detail that most clearly separates a well-made sphere from a poorly made one.

Applications in Hospitality and Retail

A single ottoman can serve several functions, which is why buyers order it in volume. Typical uses include:

  • Hotel lobbies and lounges, as flexible extra seating around coffee tables.
  • Guest rooms and suites, at the foot of the bed or beside a desk.
  • Boutique retail and showrooms, as a display plinth and seat in one.
  • Restaurants and cafes with lounge corners, where movable seating helps with changing layouts.
  • Residential developments, for staged show units and furnished apartment packages.

Because the form is compact, it stores easily and can be moved by one person, a practical advantage for operators who reset spaces often.

Customization Options

We support private-label and project-specific adjustments, including:

  • Fabric color and velvet grade matched to your palette or swatch.
  • Size variations, from smaller poufs to larger lounge-height spheres.
  • Frame species and base finish, in teak or mahogany tones.
  • Branded labels and custom carton marking for distribution programs.

Our team will prepare a pre-production sample so you can approve color, firmness and seam detail before bulk production begins.

Timber Legality and Compliance

ARDENA works with SVLK-certified legal timber, the Indonesian timber legality assurance system designed to document origin and chain of custody. For buyers with due diligence obligations, this gives a clear documentary basis for importing wood-based furniture. You can read more about the broader concept in this overview of ottoman furniture, while our sales team can share the relevant legality documents for your shipment on request.

Packing and Export Logistics

Each ottoman is wrapped to protect the velvet from abrasion and moisture, then placed in a corrugated carton. Cartons are palletized or floor-loaded depending on your container plan, and mixed-container orders can combine ottomans with other ARDENA seating or tables. Round upholstered items load efficiently when cartons are planned correctly, so we advise on carton configuration at quotation stage to help you control freight cost per unit.

B2B FAQ

What is the minimum order quantity for the beige velvet ottoman?

MOQ depends on whether you order standard beige units or a customized color and size. Contact our sales team with your target quantity and destination, and we will confirm MOQ, lead time and container planning in the quotation.

Can the velvet color and frame wood be customized?

Yes. We can match fabric color to your swatch, offer different velvet grades, and supply the hardwood frame in teak or mahogany. A pre-production sample is available so you can approve the result before bulk production.

How do you protect the upholstery during sea freight?

Each unit is individually wrapped and cartoned to guard against dust, abrasion and humidity, and cartons are loaded to avoid compression of the rounded form. We can also add extra protection for long routes or humid climates if your logistics team requests it.

To request a sample, a price list or a mixed-container proposal, contact ARDENA with your project details and we will respond with a clear, buyer-ready quotation.
